De_Syntax is my first map for Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It was created in the Source Hammer editor over the course of a few days. It's set in the back alley of a busy city, where the bomb site targets are a construction company supply area, and a parking lot. I spent a lot of time adding details to the map so the players will be immersed in the setting, like other counter strike maps.
Unfortunately, the original map files have been lost, so I cannot port it to CounterStrike 2. However, it can still be downloaded and played on CS:GO.
It went through many changes as I worked on it. I learned a lot about level design, balancing, and the Source engine from working on this map.
